i created an app prototype for learning american sign language, utilizing the methods of popular language learning apps. i wanted a clean and simple graphic style that made the language learning process seem less intimidating, and to not distract from the main content. the app focuses on not only teaching the user the language itself but gives a history of the language and its use.
