i have created album covers for different clients over the years, as well as some designs just for practice. this cover here is a redesign of mina's single "il cielo in una stanza" (the sky in a room). the basis for the imagery was the lyrics "quando sei qui con me, questa stanza non ha piu' pareti [...] no, non esiste piu', io vedo il cielo sopra noi" which translates to "when you are with me this room no longer has walls [...] no, it doesn't exist anymore, i can see the sky above us"
this is the cover for dommy swami's single "a most violent year", a song about growing tension and violence in the city of philadelphia.
cover made for a rap single. the text was made using a font that i designed before, inspired by japanese calligraphy. i created the illustration based off the nintendo character "boo".
